Plow Boy
My
birth was the biggest event for me
At that my eyes began to see.
Life as I was to know it, had yet began
Not knowing at that time who or what I am.
How a life that for me would be
And how it would test me completely.
With each day and lessons learned again
And the expectations of a greater plan.
With each day I'm supposed to grow
But I doubt this growth when I feel this low.
Often I can't see off my bow
Even if I have much to plow.
As a plow boy I began this row
And many a furrow I'd hoe.
Just like the fields I've plowed
It's all just behind me now.
